The Best Places to Propose in Nashville

Some happy news for you: Love is more alive than ever!

It is so sweet to see how after quarantine so many couples have made the decision to say yes to forever and let me tell you one thing - I am here for it! This summer I had the opportunity to photograph 5 unique proposals that I wanted to share if you are looking for some happiness or inspiration for your own Nashville proposal! (or just share this post with your boo thing)

  1. Dalton + Alexandria: Mercy Lounge

I actually attend church at Cannery Row, the venue Mercy Lounge is located in, so this was an extra special proposal for me! Dalton told Alexandria they were going to a new speakeasy in town and even had the event coordinator welcome them in like a bouncer. He had the most romantic set up: candles, rose petals and Thinking Out Loud playing the background. Alexandria had was so surprised and over the moon excited!

2. Aniket + Taylor: Bellemeade Estate

Let’s first appreciate how cute these two are! Aniket and Taylor were such a joy to work with. Belle Meade Estate, formerly known as Belle Meade plantation, offers wine tasting so Aniket made reservations and beforehand proposed in the most COVID appropriate way - by changing masks to one that said “Will you marry me?”. I love how their outfits coordinate so well!

3. Adam + Nikki: Cheekwood

Cheekwood is the most magical proposal site! The Wisteria arbor never gets old. They do require a $350 proposal fee, but this includes an annual membership along with champagne and flutes to celebrate with after! Nikki had planned a girls outing to Cheekwood so Adam took that chance to plan the proposal around her plans - a very ingenious idea if you do ask me. So when Nikki was up on the arbor taking pictures, Adam snuck behind her and completely surprised her! I did Nikki’s law school graduation pictures last year and it was so special to photograph another special occasion in her life!

4. Mike + Rachel: Bicentennial Park

I love bicentennial park because it is so close to downtown and has such a fantastic view of the capital! Rachel and Mike walked through Bicentennial park for their first date, so he chose a sentimental spot for them. Rachel had absolutely no idea this was in the works and she was SO giddy!

5. Hermitage Hotel

The Hermitage Hotel is in the heart of downtown and is so classy! Sam proposed to Ellen in December and it was so Hallmark perfect with all the Christmas decorations. Proposing at the Hermitage does require working with a coordinator there since professional photography is prohibited without permission.

6. Arrington vineyards

Alan planned a wine tasting for Mallory and their friends, but little did Mallory know he had something much bigger planned ;) Their out-of-town family members came and gave Mallory the ultimate surprise… the best part was everyone got to enjoy the wine tasting and celebrate together after!
